# Ways to Sign In to CallTuv

> A patient walkthrough of every way to sign in - email code, magic link, Google, or Apple - with no passwords to remember, on web or mobile.

**TL;DR:** There are no passwords - sign in with a 6-digit email code, the link in that email, or your Google/Apple account. Always use the same method so you land in the same account.

CallTuv doesn't use passwords - nothing to invent, write down, or forget. Instead, you prove it's you through your email inbox or through a Google or Apple account you already have. Every option below works the same on the website and in the mobile app.

And here's a nice detail: if no account exists for your email yet, one is created automatically the first time you sign in. Signing in *is* signing up - there's no separate registration form.

One important habit before we start: **always sign in the same way**. Your account is identified by the email address your sign-in method provides. If you signed up by typing your email on the website, but later press "Sign in with Apple" in the app, Apple may hand over a different address - and you'd land in a brand-new, empty account without realizing. If your balance ever seems to have vanished, this is the first thing to check - see [Where Did My Balance Go?](/help/6350924-where-did-my-balance-go)

## Option 1: Email code (the simplest)

1. On the sign-in screen, type your **email address** into the box and confirm.
2. CallTuv immediately sends an email to that address. Open your email - on your phone, in another browser tab, wherever you normally read it. The email contains a **6-digit code**, for example "482 917".
3. Go back to the CallTuv screen, type those 6 digits into the code box, and press **Verify & Continue**.

You're in. A few small things worth knowing:

- Codes only stay valid for a short time, and each code works once. If you asked for a code more than once, **use the newest email** - older codes stop working.
- If no email arrives within a minute or two, look in the **Spam** or **Junk** folder. More rescue tips in [Trouble Signing In](/help/9673025-trouble-signing-in).

## Option 2: Magic link (one tap, no typing)

The same sign-in email also contains a **link**. If you open the email **on the device you want to use CallTuv on**, you can simply tap the link - and you're signed in, no typing at all. That's the "magic."

Two notes: the link expires quickly and works only once, so use it soon after it arrives. If you see "This sign-in link is invalid or expired," nothing is wrong with your account - just request a fresh email. And if links seem finicky (some email apps interfere with them), the 6-digit code from Option 1 always works.

## Option 3: Google or Apple

If you have a Google account (Gmail) or an Apple ID, you can skip email entirely:

1. On the sign-in screen, press **Continue with Google** or **Continue with Apple**.
2. Your device shows its familiar Google/Apple confirmation - approve it as you normally would.

This is usually the fastest option on phones, where you're already signed in to Google or Apple. If the Google/Apple account uses the **same email address** you've used with CallTuv before, you'll land in your existing account with everything in place.

## Signing in on a new device

Bought a new phone, or want CallTuv on the computer too? There's nothing to transfer and nothing to lose:

1. Install the app on the new device (or open [calltuv.com](https://calltuv.com) in the browser).
2. Sign in with the **same** email or Google/Apple account as before.

Your balance, contacts, and call history appear exactly as you left them - they live safely in your account, not on any single device. More in [Use CallTuv on Any Device](/help/9145062-use-calltuv-on-any-device).

## Signing out

- **On the website:** open the account menu and choose sign out.
- **In the app:** open the **Settings** tab and sign out from there.

Signing out is always safe - your balance and history stay untouched, waiting for your next sign-in.
