This is an incredible application and the software for people who travel and have no permanent address. As well as who have been using Skype before. As nothing in this world now has anything similar to the simple calling for solving very important life issues. It could be life saving. Processing the refund or calling the bank. And other companies and services are too complicated to use. Very expensive compared to CallTuv and the quality is just amazing with the CallTuv also. Highly recommended and be super keen on seeing how it evolves years from now as the 100% go to application for anything Skype was doing before. It is just amazes me how no one apart from CallTuv has invested yet anything of what is so critically needed for people right now in 2026 and a bit earlier. Hopefully we have the permanent solution. Such a relief of having the CallTuv available and using it consistently is the key for me! Cheers. Oleg

I am thrilled to have discovered CallTuv, although it seemed almost to good to be true. I'm technically challenged in general, and therefore I couldn't be more pleased with how easy it was to set up and use. The voice quality is excellent, as well as CallTuv's CEOs personal response to my emails. The low rates make keeping in touch with loved ones abroad affordable. One thing I do need to mention, CallTuv is outgoing only. One does not have the option for incoming calls. With that said, I couldn't be happier with all the advantages CallTuv offers.

I have been using Skype for half an eternity and left Microsoft after they screwed their Skype-rules up. That was not the only disappointment triggered by that club. But now they are blacklisted. I am a happy Linux user since the catastrophal launch of Windows 10. For a birthday call I tried CallTuv, I registered, payed via GooglePay, got the approval and called my sister. There were no settings to do, I could not configure anything. This software works out of the box on a HP laptop 15-fc0xxx with Linux Debian Trixie, KDE Plasma 6.3.6. There is no extra sound-hardware in use, just the built-in system I live as an expat in Thailand. Family, friends, bank, authorities --all far away-- This is a helpful service.

It's always a huge pain in the a$$ to find an app to call overseas when you are a Digital Nomad or just working online in general and traveling. Tried so many options, most of them were straight bs. Found CallTuv by "accident" and been amazed. Transparent prices, only need wifi and you can use your own number. Can absolutely recommend if you are in sales and are looking for a reliable app to call from everywhere.

Needed to call bookings.com while abroad for anb urgent issue and they typically have you on hold and have you dialling a range of numbers and so I was afraid that I’ll be disconnected and have to pay the extortionate fees from my mobile provider but I wasn’t! I'll be honest, it was pretty good to be fair which surprised me. I will be continue to use it in the future. I like the fact that it's payg with no subscription. It's a very good replacement for Skype, I don't need to call businesses in the UK often, but as most don't use WhatsApp this app is great for the times I have to make a call.

A lifesaver when my phone was stolen abroad I was assaulted while on holiday in Lisbon and had my phone stolen, leaving me with no way to contact anyone. Using CallTuv from a browser, I was able to call the UK consulate for help and ring Apple to sort out my AppleCare+ claim. The call quality was great throughout and I didn't run into a single issue. Being able to make proper phone calls without a SIM or my own device turned a really stressful situation into something manageable. The founder also personally checks in with users, which says a lot about how much they care. Highly recommended, especially as a backup for travelling.

I needed to make an important phone call to my bank in the UK from the Falkland Islands which costs £3 per minute and the phone call lasted just over 21 minutes which should of cost over£60 but my colleague told me about CallTUV and to cut a long story short I got 250 minutes for just over £7 so I recommend CallTUV for phoning numbers that can’t be called through WhatsApp and other social media platforms it really does save you a fortune

I needed a cheap way to call Canada as I just moved to Germany and not everyone has WhatsApp. I found CallTuv online and registered but had trouble adding credit. Tech support got back to me right away and while trying to solve my problem provided me with 5$ to make an important phone call. As it turned out the solution was that my font was too large and I could not scroll down to make the payment. CallTuv identified and solved the problem in 30 minutes and I was able to add credit right away. Great job!

I had some problems at first, but that turned out to be an issue with the WiFi on the ship I was on. Before I even had to take any action, Yosi Dahan, the Co-founder & CEO of CallTuv emailed me to see how things were going and when I described my issues, he quickly explained how to fix them and added some money back to my account. With the loss of Skype to make international calls, I needed a replacement. Calltuv looks to be the perfect answer. It is technically easy to register, credit your account and to use the system. The call quality I experienced was excellent and the cost -Spain to UK - was less than I expected. The only slight downside was that there is no Test Number to check that my headset and microphone were working correctly. Otherwise, the perfect setup!!

Honestly, I had a missed call from Thailand. It was a friend. She just had a major accident, and her phone got destroyed. She had a new SIM number, which was not available on any of the other apps (WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.). All I had was this missed call from this number in another country, and I needed a way to call her back. Call TV. I was able to load some credit, pick a number, and, most importantly, set my caller ID all within 5 minutes, so that when I called her, she saw it was coming from my number. She has a number to call me back on.

You can top up your account for as little as $5, which I can share with other family members, which I think is great value. About 15-20 minutes calling from South America to UK was 52c. Call quality was good, even though I forgot to disable my VPN. I have used similar services but this is now my go-to provider. Cheap and simple.

Your TUV system is the ultimate alternative to Skype. It is every bit as easy to set up (five minutes or less!), and the design of your webpage is attractive and very clear. Thank goodness TUV does not require require any running around with smart phones and/or QR codes. In working with landlines as well as mobiles, TUV is especially suited to older users. Sound quality is very good.

I have only recently started to use CallTuv as a replacement for Webbphone (which no longer seems to be functional), which was a replacement for Skype. I use it to call internationally from Korea to family members in Canada. I very much like that CallTuv is an easy to use app on my phone and not just a browser based application on my PC (as was Webbphone and Skype). The sign-up process was easy and after brief conformation of my email and phone numbers, payment of money into the phone account, I called US from Australia for $0.03 per minute. The connection was clear. In addition, I used my mobile number as the call-back number, which shows to the recipient of my call during the conversation. Really good for my first phone call to Australia. Worked very well. Clear enough sound, no internet drop out or interruptions, looking forward to using this software again. Very close to Skype quality on sound. I'm being picky when I say that it could be fractionally clearer or crisp sound. Excellent all around system so far. Firstly they took my money without a 2FA check which saved me because I had lost my phone and had to call Australia from Serbia to arrange payment facilities. By accident, I found CallTuv on the web. It looked too good to be true, but it didn’t cost much to download the app on my iPHone. So I did. What a discovery! I got $25 worth of calls ton start with. Downloaded my addresses and made my first call overseas from Canada on my iPhone. Instead of paying $1.80 CAD, it cost me $0.04 USD, about $0.06 CAD!!!!! Great app and great service!

I recently moved to Thailand and, because I only have data on my phone plan, had been using Talk360 to make calls to the UK. Not only was that expensive and unreliable (HMRC's number was busy or not in use per Talk360!) that call quality was usually poor too. I found CallTuv by chance this morning and that has fixed all the issues I raised above! I therefore cannot recommend this app highly enough.

After Skype shut down, I spent quite a while looking for a good alternative that would allow me to make international calls, especially to landlines. I run a small startup and travel quite a lot, and my mobile plan doesn’t always allow me to make international calls. At the same time, I often need to reach government offices, authorities, or other organizations that only provide a landline number. Being able to simply make these calls through my browser has honestly been a lifesaver on several occasions. It’s easy, convenient, and solves a very real problem for anyone who travels internationally but still needs to make regular phone calls. Very happy I found it!

I found CallTuv being recommended online after a popular similar service shut down unexpectedly. It has been working perfectly so far, though I have only done a few calls on it. The audio has been very good quality with no dropouts experienced. CallTuv has all the features I need while the interface is easy and straightforward to use and simple to fund. I used to use the YOLLA app, but they couldn't connect a British Government phone number excusing it probably doesn't work or doesn't exist. Then I used this CallTuv - Cheap International Calls app, and it connected me immediately without any problems, and the call was cheaper than on the YOLLA app. So of course, I will use this CallTuv app for my next calls wherever I need. While traveling and running into airline complications, and my cellular plan from home not working, CallTuv was a great solution to call the airlines, hotels etc. One of the destinations I needed to call did not work at first, I notified support, they answered very quickly and fixed it. While they could not give me a time line in which they would be able to solve it, it was done within 24 hours. Great service, it helped us a lot. My cellular plan is messy when it comes to travel so what I will be doing from here on is install a travel e-Sim and CallTuv for phone calls. Great combo. Calls had good quality.

Simply brilliant! After Skype I have tried Sontel, Rebtel and others... and not satisfied. I try to call my dear old mom every day, I live in Malaysia and she is in Sweden. I use International Calling apps a lot for personal and business purposes. I have tried a few of them and have had issues which kept me looking for better and more ethical technical and customer service. I tried CallTuv last week. There was a small technical glitch, BUT it was quickly rectified within the time frame given and the customer service was very good. So far I feel comfortable with CallTuv. Also, they don't use their app as a platform for 'backdoor' trackers as one other calling app that I am wrapping up with by aggressively forcing precise location and 'blanket location' turned on on my devices. So far so good with CallTuv. Bravo!!

I was initially sceptical after having looked at a variety of calling apps but Calltuv looked to be one of the better options. I am glad that I finally picked it. It has worked perfectly for me for calls from Thailand to the UK at a very modest cost. It is particularly valuable for reaching old friends who have not embraced new calling technology such as WhatsApp, Messenger, or Line, so that calls can be placed to both landlines [they do still exist!] and mobile phones. ALL IN ALL, A GOOD SELECTION.

It worked way wayyyy better than what I was expecting. I was in Taiwan and needed to call back to Singapore for work stuff. My normal phone line (giga) couldn’t support the international call. I managed to call a government agency, navigated through the IVR responses (bear in mind not all Voip app supported the keypad sadly from personal experience), and was charged under usd2 for a 14m phone call. Very impressive, easy to use, clean interface, no delay in transmission. Recommended this!

I have no issues so far, but have only made one call. I did an internet search to compare call providers, this came out as one of the best when comparing pros / cons. Sign up was simple, making a payment to my balance was easy, just threw $10 in whilst I tried it. Added the app to my cell phone, connected my BT headset, made the call to the UK number I needed to call, was about 10 minutes in total, 36 cents or thereabouts, call quality was good, neither myself or the company rep on the other end had any issues hearing each other. I got no complaints so far!
