Which countries can I get a number in?
Right now numbers come with a US area code, for $5.95 a month. More countries are on the way.
Can I buy a phone number instead of renting one?
Numbers are rented by the month rather than bought outright, so there is no big cost up front. Your number stays yours for as long as you keep it, and you can cancel any time. Numbers can’t be moved to or from other providers.
Do I need a second SIM card or a second phone?
No. Your second number works over WiFi or mobile data, in your browser or the CallTuv app, on the phone or laptop you already have.

Can people call or text my number?
No. The number is for your outgoing calls, so it can’t receive calls, texts or SMS codes. That also means it can’t be used to sign up for WhatsApp, Telegram or a bank.
Is the number really mine?
Yes. Only you can call from it, and it stays the same for as long as you keep it. If you cancel, it keeps working until the end of the month you paid for. Numbers can’t be moved to or from other providers.

How do I cancel?
On the Call page, open the caller ID menu, click the settings cog next to your number and choose Cancel subscription. It keeps working until the end of the month you already paid for.

No. Calling with CallTuv is pay as you go, with no subscription. Your own number is an optional add-on you can start or stop whenever you like.
