Is CallTuv Safe and Legit?
An honest answer to a fair question - how your payments and data are protected, who is behind the service, and why the low prices are real.

View as MarkdownIf you found CallTuv while searching for cheap international calls, a healthy dose of "is this real?" is exactly the right instinct. Here's the honest picture, point by point, so you can judge for yourself.
A real, identifiable company
CallTuv is operated by Configo Ltd., a registered company in Beer Sheva, Israel, with its identity, address, and legal contacts published on the legal page - and its rules written down in public Terms of Service and a Privacy Policy. More in Who Is Behind CallTuv?
Your payment is protected
- Card payments run through Stripe, one of the world's largest payment processors, used by millions of businesses. Your card details go to Stripe directly - CallTuv never sees or stores your full card number.
- Mobile top-ups go through Apple's App Store or Google Play, with their own buyer protections.
- Every payment produces an automatic emailed invoice, and your full payment history is visible on your Balance page.
Your money doesn't quietly disappear
Three built-in protections worth knowing:
- Credit never expires - whatever you top up stays until you use it. See Understanding Rates and Per-Minute Billing.
- There's no subscription - nothing charges you monthly in the background. The optional auto top-up only activates if you switch it on, and you can switch it off anytime.
- Prices are shown before you dial - the exact per-minute rate appears in the dialer before every call, and the live cost during it. Genuine billing mistakes like double-charges are reviewed and refunded.
Real people answer
Email [email protected] or use the contact form and a person - not a bot - reads and replies. Try it before topping up if you like; asking a pre-sales question is a perfectly good way to test a company.
Judge the product before spending much
You don't have to take our word for anything:
- Browsing rates and creating an account is free.
- The minimum top-up is just $5 - small enough to try the call quality with little at stake.
- Reviews from other customers are public on Trustpilot if you'd like independent opinions.
And if the low prices themselves are what feels suspicious, that deserves a real explanation rather than a shrug: Why Is CallTuv So Cheap?
Frequently asked questions
- Does CallTuv store my card details?
- No. Payments are handled by Stripe, a certified payment processor - your card details go to Stripe directly and CallTuv never sees or stores the full number.
- What happens to my money if I stop using CallTuv?
- Nothing bad - credit never expires, so it simply waits on your balance until you call again. There's no subscription quietly charging you either.
- Why is it so much cheaper than my phone company?
- Different cost structure, honestly priced - no subscriptions, no physical infrastructure per customer, and you pay only for minutes you use. The full explanation is in "Why Is CallTuv So Cheap?"
