Didn't Receive the Verification Call?

You started caller-ID verification, but your phone never rang. In almost every case, something on the phone is silently blocking the call.

The verification call comes from +1 415 723 4000

Because it's an automated call from a US number, spam-blocking and call-filtering apps - or your carrier's built-in spam filter - often intercept it before your phone rings.

Fix it in three steps

1. Allow the number. Add +1 415 723 4000 to your contacts or your blocker's allow-list - or temporarily turn the call blocker off (check both third-party apps and your phone's built-in "Silence Unknown Callers" / carrier spam filter settings).
2. Check your signal. The verification call arrives over the normal phone network, so the phone needs regular reception - Wi-Fi doesn't help here.
3. Try again. Restart the verification: press Call me now. The call typically arrives within seconds; keep the CallTuv screen open, since the 6-digit code you'll enter on the phone keypad is displayed there. On the website the code shows up straight away, usually before the phone rings, so you can read it before you answer.

You can verify on the same phone you're running the CallTuv app on - answer the call, type the code from the screen, done.

Still nothing?

• Remember the limits: verification attempts expire after 30 minutes, and there's a cap of 5 verification calls per hour - if you've retried a lot, wait an hour.
• Some landline or VoIP numbers route oddly - if you have another number you own, try that one.
• Otherwise contact us with the number you're verifying (and your country) and we'll investigate the route.
