Use CallTuv on Any Device

CallTuv runs everywhere you do. The interfaces differ slightly between web and mobile, but the capabilities are the same - and because everything is tied to your account, your balance, contacts, caller ID, and call history stay in sync across all of them.

Web dialer

Open calltuv.com in Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox on any computer - nothing to install. It's a full browser-based phone dialer that turns any laptop into a phone, and the dashboard gives you the dialer plus full pages for Balance, History, Contacts, and Team. The web is also where you top up by card and manage auto top-up and billing details.

Sign in to the app with the same email address you use on the website. Your balance, contacts, and call history belong to your email address, not to the phone. Sign in with a different address and CallTuv quietly opens a second, empty account - your credit is still safe in the first one, but you won't see it until you sign back in with the right email.

The app has tabs for Contacts, Recents, Call, Balance, and More. Calls travel over Wi-Fi or mobile data, so you can call abroad without a local SIM or roaming plan. Adding credit works in the app just like on the website, by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay - see How to Top Up Your Balance.

Will it work on my phone?

Almost certainly, and how much the phone cost makes no difference. We don't keep a list of supported models, and there's no brand you need to own - CallTuv is an ordinary app from the App Store and the Play Store, and those stores only offer you an app your phone is able to run. So the simplest test is the store itself: if it lets you install CallTuv, your phone can run it.

If you'd rather not install anything - because the phone is short on space, or you simply want to try it first - open calltuv.com in your phone's browser instead. The web dialer works there too, on the same account and the same balance.

The first time you open the dialer on a phone browser, one screen appears suggesting the free app, since a phone handles calls better through the app than through a browser tab. You don't have to take it: tap Continue to the web dialer (or the X in the corner) and you carry straight on. Your phone remembers the choice, so the screen won't come back.

Chrome extension

The CallTuv Chrome extension adds click-to-call to your browser: phone numbers on websites become clickable and dial instantly in CallTuv. Handy if you call numbers from CRMs, directories, or listings all day.

Everything stays in sync

Whatever device you use:

• One balance - shared across web, mobile, and extension (and with your team).
• One call history - a call made on your phone shows up in the web dashboard too.
• One caller ID setting - verify your number once and it applies everywhere. See Verify Your Own Number as Caller ID.
• Renting a US number is the one thing done only on the website. Once rented, your calls from the app and the extension use it too, as long as they are set to Shared Numbers - they don't list rented numbers yet, and picking your own verified number there switches your calls to that number instead. • One contact list - including contacts shared with your team.
• One call at a time - stay signed in everywhere you like, but only one call can run on your account at once. Start a second while one is ringing or connected and it won't go through until you end the first.

Signing in on your phone the first time

This is the one step where people go wrong, so it's worth doing slowly. Your account is your email address - not the app, not the phone, and not the method you tap. Any way of signing in that carries the same email address puts you in the same account.

1. Install the app from the link above and open it.
2. On the welcome screen, choose Continue with Email, Continue with Google, or Continue with Apple.
3. Whichever you choose, make sure it uses the same email address you use on the website. If you're not sure which that is, open CallTuv in your computer's browser and look at the account menu - the address shown there is the one to use.
4. Open the Call tab. Your usual balance should be sitting there. If it does, you're in the right account and everything else - contacts, history, caller ID - has come with it.

There's no separate registration for the app. If you sign in with an email address that has never used CallTuv, an account is simply created for it, which is exactly why a typo or a second address lands you somewhere empty.

A word about "Continue with Apple"

When you tap Continue with Apple, Apple offers to hide your real address and hand CallTuv an invented one ending in privaterelay.appleid.com. That invented address is a different email address as far as your account is concerned, so it opens a brand-new, empty account rather than finding your existing one. Choose the option that shares your real email address instead, and make sure that address is the one you use on the website.

If your balance looks wrong in the app

Don't worry - money doesn't disappear, and you almost certainly haven't lost anything. You're just looking at a different account.

1. Go to the Settings tab and sign out.
2. Sign in again with the email address you use on the website.
3. Check the Call tab - your credit should be back in view.
