Invoices, Receipts, and VAT Details
Every top-up gets an emailed invoice, and a rented number's monthly fee gets an invoice too - here's where to find them, and how to put your company name, address, and VAT ID on future invoices.
Updated
View as MarkdownEvery top-up - manual or automatic - generates an invoice that's emailed to your account email address automatically. The monthly fee for a rented US number gets an invoice too, listed on the Invoices tab of the Team page and marked Phone number.
Downloading your invoices
Team owners can see and download every invoice on the website: click Team in the menu, then the Invoices tab, next to Members. Each row shows the date, amount and status, with a Download button for the document. A refunded payment shows the refunded amount instead, and a rented US number's monthly fee is marked Phone number so it is not mistaken for a top-up. Under that label you see which number it paid for and which team member rents it, for example "+1 (419) 495-5654 · Dana". For your own number, only the number is shown.
Invoices used to sit on a tab of the Balance page. They moved to the Team page so the billing record sits with the team that pays it.
Adding your billing details
If you expense CallTuv or need VAT-compliant invoices:
- Open Balance in the web dashboard and find the billing details section.
- Fill in the name (personal or company), address, country, and VAT ID if you have one.
- Save - invoices for future top-ups and number payments will carry these details.
Details apply per team, so if you run multiple teams, set them on each.
Need a formal company or VAT invoice arranged with specific business details? Email help@calltuv.com with the details and we'll help sort it out.
VAT on your top-ups
Depending on your billing country, VAT may be added at checkout. The invoice breaks out the base amount and VAT paid, so your bookkeeping stays clean. The credit added to your balance is the top-up amount you selected - see How to Top Up Your Balance.
If the billing address on the card paying for a rented US number is in Israel, 18% VAT is added to the $5.95 monthly fee, making $7.02, and the invoice shows it.
Mobile purchases
Top-ups bought in the current iPhone and Android apps are billed by CallTuv, so they produce a proper invoice just like a website payment - it arrives by email and appears on the Invoices tab of the Team page, marked App.
Older versions of the app charged through the App Store or Google Play instead. Those purchases were billed by Apple or Google, so the receipt for them comes from your app store rather than from CallTuv, and no CallTuv invoice exists for them. They are still listed under Mobile App Charges on the same Invoices tab, so the credit they added is on record.
Either way, you can review every top-up on the account in the app under Balance → Top-up History.

Frequently asked questions
- Where is my invoice?
- It's emailed to your account email automatically after every top-up. Team owners can also download every invoice on the website - click Team in the menu, then the Invoices tab. Check spam if an email is missing, and contact help@calltuv.com if an invoice is genuinely missing. For a rented US number, Stripe emails a receipt for each monthly payment to whoever pays for the team, and the invoice is on the same Invoices tab, marked Phone number, with the number and the team member who rents it.
- I can't find the invoices on the Balance page anymore - where did they go?
- They moved to the Team page. Click Team in the menu and open the Invoices tab, next to Members. Only team owners see it. The Balance page now holds top-ups, saved cards, auto top-up and billing details.
- Can I get an invoice with my company details?
- Yes - fill in your billing details (name, address, country, VAT ID) on the Balance page and they'll appear on invoices for subsequent top-ups.
