How Teams and Shared Balance Work

Everything in CallTuv - balance, call history, contacts you share, caller settings - lives inside a team. When you sign up, a team is created for you automatically, so solo users never need to think about it. Teams shine when more people join.

The shared balance

A team has one balance. When anyone on the team makes a call, the cost is deducted from that shared balance, and the balance display updates in real time for everyone. This makes it easy to manage calling credit for a family or a business making international calls from one place:

• The owner tops up and can enable auto top-up.
• Members call using the shared credit - no individual billing to manage.
• Rented numbers - anyone on the team can rent their own US number. Its $5.95 monthly fee is charged to the team's saved card, not to the shared balance.

What else is shared

• Call history - everyone can see the team's calls, with each call attributed to the member who made it. See Your Call History.
• Contacts you choose to share - contacts are private by default but can be shared with the team. See Managing Your Contacts.

What stays personal

Your sign-in, your private contacts, and your verified caller ID belong to your account, not the team. A US number you rent is yours alone too, but because the team's card pays for it, it only works on calls from that team and ends if you are removed.

Roles in a nutshell

• Owner - bills and manages: top-ups, auto top-up, invites and removals, team name, gift credits, and seeing and cancelling members' rented numbers.
• Member - calls, contacts, history, and renting their own US number.
