Opening your payment settings, step by step
- Open your internet browser and go to calltuv.com/balance - sign in if asked. (Payment methods are managed on the website; the mobile app's purchases go through your app store instead, so there's nothing to manage there.)
- On the Balance page, find and click the button labeled Manage Payment Methods.
- A secure page opens, run by Stripe - the payment company that processes CallTuv payments. This is normal and safe: your cards live with Stripe, never with CallTuv, which is why you manage them on Stripe's page.
What you can do there
- Remove a card - choose the card and delete it. Gone immediately.
- Add a new card - enter its details once; it's then available for future top-ups.
- Set the default card - mark one card as your main one. This matters for one reason in particular: the default card is the one auto top-up charges when your balance runs low. If you replace a card, take a second to mark the new one as default so automatic top-ups continue smoothly.
When you're done, simply close the page - changes take effect right away.
Reassurances worth having
- Removing every card is completely safe: your existing balance stays exactly where it is and never expires. The only effect is that auto top-up pauses until a card exists again.
- If a card is being refused at checkout, that's a different matter with its own easy fixes - see Payment Not Going Through at Checkout.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my card stored by CallTuv?
- No - cards are stored and processed by Stripe, a certified payment company trusted by millions of businesses. CallTuv never sees or keeps your full card number.
- Does removing my card affect my balance?
- Not at all - credit you've already purchased stays on your account and never expires. Removing cards only means future payments need a card entered again.
